#January Quote

Hello Friday....... Hello All

Just a quick posts on my January quote "Some People are so Poor, All They Have is Money"

Source

If it's about reading quotes, I am among the people who like reading the inspiration quotes. I like them because in they carry out very strong and beautiful messages. It does not need a person to read pages and pages, only one sentence is enough to be filled with a lot of meaning.
I am always uplifted and encouraged through quotes.

I would not write down how I understand about this quote or the meaning I get from this quote. All I would like to write to you is " if you are now reading my blog, what kind of a message are you getting from this "Some People are so Poor, All They Have is Money".

Thank You So Much For Stopping By And have A Nice Week End

Cheers

What I become after losing a beloved one

I wrote this post some days back.... it was just in the draft and today is the best day to post as I am marking two years since the lost of my beloved one!!!

I know everyone has their own experience after losing  their beloved one and as we struggle to recover from such hard time in life so many things may happen in between, most of behavior may arise some of them are not under our own control but it’s just because we are in transition of letting go

My experience was not an easy after the lost of my fiancĂ©, if you read my blog you would have read my post HERE, I wrote this post dedicating everything towards myself and the current situation I had at that time. I would not like to talk much about that post rather today I would like to let it out on the behaviors that I know I generate after the lost….. These are just some that I can easily identify myself I don’t know those behaviors that I can’t see them.... Here they are

I become jealous out of nothing; I can’t help it but feel jealous out of nothing at all!!!  I feel like my fellows have more than I and I think if that person was around I could be in a position of having it or you could be the same as them. I would also feel jealous if I see coupes around and I would like to see yourself in that position too

I become insecure; yes its true “insecure” If I stay in group of people I would feel like I am the only one who is missing something or I am the only one has lost someone close at that time. I could be insecure of avoiding some discussions too

This is too bad but it is true, I would like to talk about my lost!!!  I could finish an hour or two discussing about that. I don’t know why may be because it is a relief when I talk about that

I compare, I try to compare what I had and what I current have……. I may put a comparison table even to a new relationship because that was not something that I expected to lose at that time then you feel like they still exist. **** Though I don't have a right to compare people because everyone comes in life with there own blessings****

I was in movement Struggle finding replacement, sometimes I would feel like there is something missing and to cover the gap is the only solution, so I would try to find and engage myself in new activities for the satisfaction

I struggled and I am still struggling with this lose, But I thank God for the improvements I have so far.... That's it for today

Please don't hesitate to share with me some of your experience

Thank you for stopping by

Cheers

New In Store

Happy New Week!!!

I am stopping by to post my new collection and new designs in my store!!! In this business the best part or moment I like is when I have my pictures ready for online store “… I know before I have my pictures ready I have to go through a lot to complete making all the clothes...”. I am not complaining but I feel blessed by God to have courage to manage all that

------You requested, And we have listened --------- Most of times we have been receiving a request from our customers asking if they can get an alternative fabric choice. This time we are adding an option of African Prints Fabrics Catalog; this is for customers to have an optional of choosing the fabrics (colors/prints) they like.  Please stay tuned I will be featuring a post for the fabrics that we have.

All our collections are made by us…. Visit our online store HERE

African Prints Patchwork Pillow Case Tutorial

Happy Friday!!

This weekend I am sharing this simple and quick tutorial for making your patchwork pillow case. For my pillow case I used African prints fabrics that have been collecting them from different projects that used in making clothes for my online store. The pillow cases that I made is 16" X 16"

Things Needed
- Sewing Machine, guess what the sewing machine I am using is as old as my age. This sewing was used by my mother and is the same machine I am using now. In future I will share the post about this sewing machine.
- Fabrics (3 - 5 different fabrics)
-Zipper
- Scissors
- Measuring Tape
- Chalk (for making)

So lets start,

Step 1: Cut your fabrics in about 20" long and about 4" wide

Step 2: Sew the ends of your fabric pieces together, at the end you will have something like below

Because I was making more than 4 pillow cases I had different fabrics

Iron your pieces, and cut the exceeding pieces on each side

Step 3: Divide your fabric in four pieces (cut horizontally against the the lines you have sewn at first). This step is optional if you like lines of fabrics you can skip Step 3 & 4 and jump to step 5

Step 4: Choose fabrics different to the other and sew them together

Step 5: Once you finish above step, measure the pieces in 17" X 17" each.
Insert zipper and finish sewing the rest sides

And here we go, at the end you will have your patchwork pillow cases ready

Thank you so much for stopping by and please let me know your experience on how you make your patchwork pillow cases

Asante Sana and Have A Nice WeekEnd

Best Song I See Myself In

Hello People ........ Happy New Week!!!

I am excited because today is my last day to work and I will have 3 weeks off, I think this is the reason I keep this job because I get 3 weeks off after 6 weeks of work!!!!

Okay from my inspiration dairy today,  I thought of sharing about my worktrack song and why I love Dolly Patron. I know you would like to know a bit about a person behind this blog and here we are

I do listen to country music…..YES I DO and I LOVE…. Though I don’t know many of country songs and singers but I love Kenny Rogers and Dolly Patron. Dolly is one of my favorite country singer of all times and
I love her more because when I listen to one of her songs I see myself in her.
Dolly Patron has inspired me so much by her song “Coat of Many Colors” and I made it to be my worktrack song and my inspiration song too

Though my story is not the same as of Dolly's but……. My mama loves sewing and back to those days I remember my mama would sew some school uniforms and schoolbags for!!! When I remember about that now, I know this meant a lot her and wishing me good luck and happiness.

Sometimes, when I work and need some inspiration to continue working I switch on “Coat of many Colors”. I am telling you I can listen to this song again and again until I get to finish what I do ……. This song also made me believe that sometimes we are not born rich but we have to work hard to sustain our lives and you may have no money but you are so rich "In your own coat of many colors"

Of course I am listening to this “Coat of Many Colors” now while writing

That’s it for today…. Thank you for stopping by

Have you ever been inspired by any song and you see yourself in it?

Please feel free to leave me a feedback in comment box
