Pick And Mix Session

Happy Wednesday!!!!

In Pick and Mix Session today, I picked one of the newest listed dress from the store named as Over sized Melowa Dress. The good thing about African Prints, you get so many alternatives as it has different color prints on it. If you get to lazy or don't have time you quickly complete your outfit with either black or white "simple".
This dress can either be accessorized with also black and white too but I decided to complete the look with mustard and brown colors.

Balancing Full Time Job & Business

Happy Everyone!!!!

Before I start anything, I would like to let you know I have changed the name of my Blog from Kwanza Inspiration to AbbyBay with Kwanza
The reason behind is to let people have two options during searching----Let Kwanza Inspiration directs you to my shop (www.kwanzainspiration.com) while AbbyBay with Kwanza directs you to my blog
Welcome to abbybaywithkwanza.blogspot.com

As we have been reading in other blogs on how people balance their family matters with blogging or taking care of kids with blogging and some other activities in life.
To my side, I will be sharing with you my experience in balancing full time job and business. As I am fully time employee with working schedule of 12 hrs & As I am online seller of custom made clothes. Both activities are important in my life and I still need to keep both of them.

Its one of the tough activities because when works needs you, your business is also in demand.... For almost 1 year I have been handling this two activities and I have realized the importance of balancing these two....because if not I would have to let one go!!!

How do I balance them?
I work on roster bases (6 weeks on duty and 3 weeks off duty),So this helps me to really balance all the needs in both. When I am scheduled to work for 6 weeks, I would hardly deal with business issues only on few tasks like receiving email, looking on the trend of business, follow up on orders and other light activities. My main task for these six weeks will be on my full time job.

After 6 weeks, i receive 3 weeks off that is when business activities starts. Most of these off days I will work on shopping for new fabric for new products, making all my new products that I would like to release in my store, picture taking and upload pictures online.

What about blogging? I don't give much time on blogging, I blog as I get time... I have also been thinking about this and I think its another activity which I should consider giving my time. I have released among the top 5 traffic source that I receive in my shop is from my this Blog. I would not loose this opportunity of traffic that is why I will dedicate some time in evenings for my blog so that I can post at list 2 - 3 times per week... Hope this will work

How Could I forget.... Thanks to my family who help me with now and then activities and make this run easily and smother Everyday.

And that is how I came across balancing these 2 activities.....Do you also balancing two or more activities in life? What is your experience? Feel free to leave your comments I will be happy to hear from you

That's it for today....

Have A Nice Week

Cheers
