Hello December 2015

........... Hello Everyone ...........

When I say hello I remember Adele, hope many of you or all of you have listened to this song called “HELLO by ADELE” this is amazing song……. I love love love it.  If you have not listen to it yet link is here

So I think I am starting my December 2015 with hello…………………… Hello from the other side, hope you are well…. And you are now reading this post!!!

As we approach to the end of year and as I approach to my biggest holiday celebration ever Christmas and New Year, can’t wait for the celebration. Since my childhood our family and community around us we would celebrate so much in these two celebrations than any other in a year. I guess this would be one reason I love this December

And by the way, I am currently rocking  protective style, here we call them Afro Kinky Hair Style, but I guess some people call it something like Marley braid “I don’t know” and whatever the name I just like this style,  it’s just simple and cute

I hope to blog a lot this month....

Thank you and Cheers

Natural Hair Upate - Hair Texture and Focus

..........   Hello Everyone   ..........

I thought of taking a close picture of my hair and give an update of what I have been doing. So till now I rank my natural hair as 4c hair type…. I am not professional hair stylist but  I tell you this due to the tight coils that my hair has and that ability of my hair to shrink once dump proves to me that is 4C natural hair. Someone may say otherwise but to me this is 4C type hair

At this early stage of natural hair journey, there are the 2 activities I want to focus on, one is moisturizing and other is prevent breakage. Since I big chopped my hair, I never focused on taking care and or doing maintenance for that reason I experience drying and breakage of my hair. Due to that moisturizing my hair now priority and prevent hair breakage.

I do moisturize everyday without a miss by following the LOC method that is L as water or/and water based leave in, Oil may be coconut or avacado oil and finishing up with the thicker butter.

On my side I use water, coconut oil and some thick leave in  that I current have as a sealer. Though I am looking forward in doing a DIY on shea butter so that I can make my own shea butter cream as a sealer but for now let me use what I have.

That's it for today and Thank you for taking your precious time to stop by my blog and please share with me your experience in the comment box below

My First List - Natural Hair Products

When you enter in a world of natural hair journey, there are lots and lots of information you will be taking in... But I swear the hardest part is Products and Products and Products. Apart from being a lot of information out there but there is a lot of different brands that sells natural hair products. If you are new like me you get confused. I personally was confused on what will be my first products

So this where in my first list

1st ........ Water

2nd ........  Coconut Oil and Castor Oil

3rd ....... SheaMoisture Yucca & Plantain Anti-Breakage Strengthening Masque

4th ........  SheaMoisture Strengthen, Grow & Restore Leave-In Conditioner Jamaican Black Castor Oil

5th ........  SheaMoisture Raw Shea Butter Restorative Conditioner

6th .......  SheaMoisture Coconut & Hibiscus Curl Enhancing Smoothie

Though for the time being I will not do kind of a review because I just them may be in future after 2 to 3 times using them will come back with reviews and things like that.
But the challenge I see right now is me getting products to where I live, it’s so difficult to find natural hair products retailers in Tanzania right now though I will keep searching. Expept for water, coconut oil and castor oil, all products have been bought online from US.

FIRST POST - NATURAL HAIR JOUNERY

Hello People!!

I had been wanting to have natural hair somewhere in 2011 and started doing some research here and there, watching some VLoggers on how to grow natural hair!! If I could seriously go natural at that time I would be like 3 or may be 4 years by now. But that did not happen and I stayed with my relaxed hair till 2013.

This was 2013 when I big chopped

So in 2013 I did a big chop, I just decided to rock short hair for a while not with the intention of keeping my hair natural…. After being with short hair for like 1.5 year I thought why not start my natural hair journey. And here I am

What I have been doing? currently, I have been research from either Bloggers or Vloggers to learn from fellow natural hair buddies for their experiences and challenges…..  Though most of these Bloggers and Vloggers are from USA or Europe so its not so easy to take everything from them with the fact that even weather condition differs from where I live... some very few from Africa and I have not seen anyone from Tanzania yet except Aisha from MyAfroandI embracing her natural hair journey but she lives in South Africa. Apart from that there is a lot of information out there that anyone can learn and acquire important information to start with while you learn to take-care of your own hair

Clean and Washed Hair in 4 Sections

Why I am I taking this to blogging? its not necessary for me to blog about hair... its not necessary at all.... I do this because I find importance of sharing this journey and may be we can both get to learn from my journey.. get to know on natural hair, products and also encourage someone either in Tanzania... or Africa.... or anywhere on this Earth that they can grow their natural hair from wherever they are now

Clean and Washed Hair

So lets see how this will go... please join me in this journey and will always be appreciating your comments

I am Getting Better - Birthday in September

Hello,

Before I say goodbye to September, I would like to thank God for another year... This is a month of birthdays. So in one week we had birthdays of three people at home.. one is my niece whose birthday was on 15th.... the second is the mother of my niece who is my sister, her birthday was on 16th and the last was mine which was on 19th.

For all the 3 of us we just had one cake and was named after my niece who just turned four years old, so we thought to give her the time to enjoy and celebrate. To be honest... I don't do birthdays and things like that but I definitely know the day of my birthday and it also feels very good. So it was good idea celebrating my birthday through my niece

Back to my own birthday now... there are things that I have notice that happens to me as years pass by. I am getting old, yes I am getting old but this packages comes with its own best things and it makes me feel that its not that "I am getting old, but I am getting better" as they say.

Disappontments and Lesson Learnt

Hello you!!!!

Before I go any further, I would like to thank you for stopping by blog. As you all know or if you don't know I run my own African Prints Clothing Line in Etsy Link here and would like to share my experience with you!!! Would like to be as open as I can so that someone else may benefit and learn from experience.

Is it bad to say that you are disappointed or even write a post saying you are disappointed?

Have I ever been disappointed with what I do in own business??? The answer is YES

There are some circumstances as a human being I feel disappointed.....  When being disappointed in my own business this does not mean I don't love what I do. I love what I do so much and I might quit my permanent job in future once my business is stable and running.

You know when you sell products to people before it reaches to your customer there are so many things "behind the store"... at first I though it was easy but to to tell you the truth there is lot of time investing in each product you make. And the minute you mess up with your time management is going to be hectic and disappointing

But what do I do when I feel disappointed... this is real confession now "I might take 2 - 3 days off, not touching any thing related to my own business". It's not that I quite but I take step back thinking on how to improve things that makes me feel disappointed. I came to realize when I get back to work again I start with new energy and happy again.

I don't know if other people get disappointing in there own business or its only me.... May be someone reading this post runs their own business, please let me know if in someway you felt disappointed

Please feel free to drop me your comments on this and will highly be appreciated

#January Quote

Hello Friday....... Hello All

Just a quick posts on my January quote "Some People are so Poor, All They Have is Money"

Source

If it's about reading quotes, I am among the people who like reading the inspiration quotes. I like them because in they carry out very strong and beautiful messages. It does not need a person to read pages and pages, only one sentence is enough to be filled with a lot of meaning.
I am always uplifted and encouraged through quotes.

I would not write down how I understand about this quote or the meaning I get from this quote. All I would like to write to you is " if you are now reading my blog, what kind of a message are you getting from this "Some People are so Poor, All They Have is Money".

Thank You So Much For Stopping By And have A Nice Week End

Cheers
